Scott Abdominal Three Panel Binder

Scott Abdominal Three Panel Binder

Abdominal Three Panel Binder – Three - 3" inch wide segmented panels of plushback elastic and Uni-form™ panel with Velcro hook closure. Color White

$25.00

This binder is soft and the panels allow for flexibility for anyone that is curvy or feels like they have a lot of tummy to bind. This binder is our most popular as it effectively splints the abdominals but is comfortable enough to wear all of the time. The three panel binder is most often recommended for immediately after baby comes for the same reasons. The three panel binder is flexible but also strong enough to protect and realign.  One of the benefits to this binder is that it fits a large range of sizes so as you shrink down after pregnancy or grow in your pregnancy it will accommodate several sizes. For sizing: measure at belly button, with a relaxed tummy.  From our physical therapist experience a more realistic sizing is SM: 28 to 42 and LG: 42 to 55. Petite               27” – 34”                      6” wide

Small               32” – 40”                      8″ wide

Medium           38” – 46”                      8″ wide

Large               44” – 52”                      10″ wide

Voluptuous      50” – 54”                      14” wide

Tips:

Pregnancy Support:

If needing support starting at your 6th or 7th month, consider that you will be increasing your measurement by 3-5 inches between your 8th and 9th month. Take your measurement around your tummy as normal and add 3- 5 inches to your measurement for the best approximate size.

Scheduled C-Section:

The best time to measure is while you are 8 months pregnant. This measurement will be the closed size to fit after your delivery.

If you are very close to your due date, a general guideline is to subtract 3-5″ from your belly measurement.

Emergency C-Section:

If you find yourself needing our C-Section Recovery Binders for an unplanned Caesarean, measure your tummy and a general guideline to follow is subtract 3-5″ from your belly measurement.

Other Abdominal Surgery and Abdominal Support:

Measure around your tummy 2″ (5cm) below your belly button and this measurement should be the ideal size you will need.

EXAMPLE GUIDELINES

Example at 6-7 months: 33-35″ measurement +3-5″ for baby = 38-40″ that’s a Medium size for post birth.

Example at 8 months: 38″ measurement +0″ for baby = 38″ that’s a Medium size for post birth.

Example at 9months: 42″ measurement  -3-5″ for baby = 35-37″ that’s a Medium size for post birth.
